SNEA (India), EKM SSA Executive Committee met today at SNEA Bhavan, Palarivattom and took following decisions.
1. JTO’s High Range Transfer Case:
The Executive committee made an active discussion on the relieving of JTOs at Tenure Areas of Idukki who were transferred to High ranges as per High Range Transfer Policy and completed the Tenure. Committee expressed its concern of Association in the delay in non relieving of JTOs working at Tenure Stations as per the Policy in Idukki since two years .it is also decided to convey our demand for issuing orders without any further delay for conducting High Range Transfer Policy smoothly as done in previous years. It was also decided to resort to organizational actions if the assurance given by the Admin is not honored.
2. Support to our Circle Vice President, Com. K.O Alias, SDE Ayavana:-
The Executive Committee has extended its full support to Our Circle Vice Presdient, Com. K.O. Alias for his Great efforts to minimize the fault at his stations at Ayavana, Vazhakkulam and Kalloorkkad and is also viewed that effecting departmental actions to those who are not performing their duties is the responsibility of an Officer. Association also viewed that actions proposed by BSNLEU without following any normal procedure are totally unjustified and against the spirit of improving BSNL services as decided by all unions for the revival of BSNL. SSA Executive Committee entrusted our SSA Secretary to convey our views regarding these points to the SSA admin and Secretary of BSNLEU.
3. Participation in On Going Trade Union Actions for Repatriation of ITS Officers.
As per the Decisions of Forum of Associations/Unions of EKM SSA, SNEA(India) EKM will actively participate in the whole program. All Branch secretaries are requested to make maximum participation from each branch for Dharna at BSNL Bhavan on 17.10.2012 and Relay hunger strike from 29.10.2012 to 03.11.2012.
4. Exe. Committee decided to conduct a General Body meeting to facilitate our Retired/Retiring Comrades and for the distribution of Educational Awards 2012 by November 2012. The date will be announced later.
5. SNEA Relief fund for Rs. 40000/- each to the families of Late. Com. Jayan and Com. Appu has been distributed in the meeting. Smt. Leena C.D W/o Late. Jayan and Smt. Sindhu, W/o Com. Late. Appu collected the Cheques from Circle Secretary and Circle Vice President respectively. Cheque for the family of Com. Late Krishnan will be handed over by this week.
6. The meeting decided to complete the subscription collections from all branches by this month end.
7. The meeting also decided to extend all assistance to offg JTOs for approaching Hon. w.r.t FR 35 pay fixation .
17/10/2012 One Day Dharna at BSNL Bhavan, Eranakulam on 17/10/2012
Massive Dharna was conducted by Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations at BSNL Bhavan.
Com. A.P Honey Kumar, Convener of the Forum made welcome address. Presidential address was delivered by Com. P. Prakash, Dist. President, SNEA (India) and Chairman, Forum of BSNL Executives and Unions. Dharana inagurated by Com. A.V. Kuryakose, Circle President, BSNLEU.

Dharna was attended by 197 members of the Forum with a healthy participation of 67 members from SNEA (India) including our Circle Treasurer Com. Janardhanan, Area Sec. (Central) Com. A.T. Rajan and Org. Sec. Com Sibi Raj, Dist. Sec. Com. Rajan K Paul, Dist Treasurer Com. Sabu, CEC Member. Com. Joseph Varghese, other leaders and our beloved members....
